CNC Production Supervisor

Task Force Tips prides itself on being a worldwide industry leader in the design and manufacture of high tech fire suppression equipment.  We are seeking a full-time CNC Production Supervisor.  This individual must possess at least five years of experience in the area of set-up and operation of CNC lathes and/or machining centers, as well as supervisory experience which includes conducting performance appraisals, and handling disciplinary action. 

This shift is 11:00PM-7:30AM and this position reports to the Supervisor of the CNC Production Department, and provides supervisory support.  In order to be considered further, you must meet the minimum qualifications for the position as listed below:

  • Knowledge of and ability to make practical application of assigned computer programs and codes.
  • Thorough knowledge of and ability to make practical application of OSHA and company safety precautions and procedures.
  • Ability to observe read and interpret technical manuals, instruments, gauges and dials and use practical shop mathematics.
  • Ability to physically and safely set-up and operate CNC machines and various industrial equipment and hand tools, including micrometers, wrenches, drill presses, crane and fork lift.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment with minimum supervision, and work on several tasks at the same time, often under time pressure.
  • Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with other Department personnel, including; being sensitive to professional ethics, gender, cultural diversities and disabilities.
  • Ability to occasionally work extended hours.

Territory Managers

We are currently seeking to fill (3) Territory Manager positions in the following territories:

*Individual must live in the territory that they will be serving.

North Atlantic Territory Manager (ME, NH, NY, VT, MA, CT, RI)

Mid-Atlantic Territory Manager (PA, NJ, DE, MD)

North Central Territory Manager (ND, SD, MN, NE, IA, KS)

Task Force Tips, Inc., a worldwide leader in firefighting equipment manufacturing, is seeking a full-time Territory Manager.  Position is responsible for promoting sales of the TFT product lines to distributors and end-user accounts in assigned areas.  Individual provides oversight, guidance, and support of TFT products, and trains dealers and end-users.  Actively participates in state and regional trade shows.


  • Continually evaluates and monitors assigned dealer territory, dealer sales activity/performance and profitability in keeping with TFT’s evaluation process. Maintains territories to existing distribution networks ensuring territorial objectives are met.
  • Provides support to dealers and end users, including answering inquiries, sending/receiving information, coordinating activities, assisting with sales calls and training sales personnel.
  • Trains dealer staff and others as assigned by giving work instruction on TFT equipment policies.
  • Establishes new strategic distribution partners ensuring key strategic fundamentals are always in alignment.
  • Maintains contact with fire schools, including promoting new products, teaching classes following through with loaned demo equipment.
  • Attends and assists dealers with state and regional trade shows and sales meetings, including providing adequate literature and display materials.
  • Prepares and provides various reports, including weekly activity summaries, trip reports, forecasts, competitive product pricing and weekly expense accounts.
  • Maintains inventory of demo equipment, current sales brochures and technical literature for shows and demonstrations.
  • Attends semi-annual sales meetings along with other company meetings as scheduled.
  • Maintain residence within current territorial responsibilities.
  • Maintains basic home office for territory management, which includes but not limited to maintaining TFT provided equipment such as computer/laptop, printer, and phone.
  • Complies with company expense reporting policy.
  • Proactively offers suggestions for the improvement of a product, process or practice.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The skills listed below are preferred but not required.  These skills are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability for the position.  Limited experience will be considered for the position with the willingness to acquire these skills/responsibilities during employment.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Experience and/or education in fire service/industry and operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of and/or ability to eventually be able to make practical application of National Fire Protection Association and IFSTA standards and hydraulics.
  • Knowledge of/or ability to learn terms commonly used during water flow discussions.
  • Knowledge of/or ability to learn terms commonly used during foam operations.
  • Knowledgeable of/or willingness to learn the scope and content of NFPA/USFS/UL standards
  • Possesses knowledge or has the ability to learn the general design and operation of nozzles, monitors, water flow appliances and injection equipment. .
  • Reasonable technical knowledge of hose sizes, design, manufacture, and components.   
  • Knowledge of foam agents.
  • Ability to frequently spend long periods of time driving a vehicle and/or traveling by plane.
  • Ability to regularly work extended, weekend and/or evening hours, and travel out of town, often overnight.
  • Ability to respond swiftly, rationally and decisively to emergencies on a 24-hour basis as needed.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and demonstrated safe driving record.
  • Ability to lift items weighing 30-50lbs.
