Moving to Lower Pressures 

In today’s fire service we see a lot of people converting to low pressure. In years past, 100 PSI nozzles were the norm. They worked well with most hose varieties available.  

Now, it’s common to see departments moving to low pressure nozzles. When you do that, it’s important to remember that you need the right hose to pair with that nozzle. Choosing the wrong hose for lower pressures can lead to an unmanageable hose line or a higher likelihood of kinks.
